She is estranged from her foster father but her husband always asks her to get in touch with him. Even though Meera misses him, she refuses to call him till he accepts John.

Avni is drunk and vulnerable after her prospective groom rejected her kiss, she sleeps with Bhandari (Vishwas Kini) who is Rishabh's cousin. The next day, Kalindi is found in her old house, reminiscing her mother's pictures. Rishabh's apologizes to her and she forgives him. After realizing that they have different expectations from each other, they decide to break up. Her friends, are not supportive of her decision and try to reason with her. Kalindi, being set on her way gets into an argument with them and leaves. A month later, Sakshi, buys all her veere an all paid vacation to Thailand. Sakshi and her husband were facing a lot of problems in their marriage and were always fighting. One day, he walks in on her masturbating and appalled, decides to divorce her. She is very embarrassed to tell her parents the reason of why she moved out of his house. Meera tells them she hasn't had sex in a year and the birth of her son has taken her away from it. Controversy
Another Hindi film with a similar title Veerey Ki Wedding, starring Pulkit Samrat, Kriti Kharbanda and Jimmy Shergill appeared while the movie was in production. Legal action brought by father-daughter duo Anil Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor to challenge the use of such a similar name was unsuccessful.
The film was banned in Pakistan and Kuwait for its explicit language and sexuality. When asked about the ban in Pakistan, Swara Bhaskar responded that it's evident that it would be banned in a non-secular nation states run by Sharia Law, like Pakistan and further elaborated that the people of Pakistan would in fact watch the movie citing tweets from them.
