Oz the Great and Powerful is a Hollywood fantasy adventure film. The lead stars of this film are James Franco, Mila Kunis, Rachel Weisz, Michelle Williams, Zach Braff, Bill Cobbs, Joey King, and Tony Cox.

The story starts in 1905 Kansas, where a magician and con artist named Oscar Diggs(Oz), works on circus and is selfish, weak, and womanizer. A strongman who works on a circus found that Oscar has flirted with his wife, and he starts bullying Oscar.

Oscar than fly in the hot air balloon, but absorbed in a cyclone. The cyclone takes him at Land of Oz, where he met Theodora, who is a naive good witch. She started to believe Oscar(Oz) that he is Wizard, and will become king of Oz, and will destroy the Wicked Witch. Wicked Witch was the one who killed the previous king. After hearing that he will be the king of Oz by killing the Wicked Witch, he became greedy and accepted her offer. On the way to Emerald City, Theodora falls in love with him. 

Later, they both met the flying monkey Finley, who pleads Oscar to save him from a lion. They agreed, and Finley now is with both of them. After some time, Oscar reveals to Finley that he is not the Wizard and forces him to treat him like a Wizard. They reached Emerald City, where Oscar met the elder sister of Theodora, Evanora. Evanora tells him that Wicked Witch can be killed in the dark forest by destroying her wand. Oscar and Finley left the city to kill the Wicked Witch. On the way, they both found an injured China Doll, her family, and the whole village that was killed by the Wicked Witch. Oscar helps her, and she joined both of them.

Three of them now reach Dark Forest, where they met Glinda a Wicked Witch, but they determine that Glinda is the previous late king’s daughter and real Wicked Witch is Evanora. Evanora is watching them continuously through a crystal ball. Evanora tricks Theodora and offers a magical apple to separate her heartache, but after eating an apple, she turns out a green-skinned witch.

Glinda took all three into her territory, where they plan to kill Wicked Witch. Glinda knows all about Oscar that he is not a Wizard and makes him believe that he can cease Evanora. Theodora angrily arrives at Glinda’s territory with a new terrible look, and threats to kill him and his team.
