Chhichhore is a Comedy-Drama movie that revolves around a divorced father named Aniruddh Pathak “Anni” who has a teenage son Raghav, wants to be an engineer, and recently gave his JEE entrance to qualify for IIT. Raghav was in deep pressure as he was not sure that he will clear his entrance exams or not. When he was checking his results, he got to know that he hadn’t cleared his entrance exams and not get qualified for IIT. He was afraid that everyone will call him losers, so he jumps from his balcony. Aniruddh took him to the hospital, and also calms his ex-wife Maya (Shraddha Kapoor). The doctor told both of them that Raghav’s condition is not good, and he doesn’t have that much dare to live. So, Anirudh decided to tell his college stories to Raghav so that he can understand the value of life and again have the hope to live. When he started his story, Raghav was feeling that the story is imaginative, but Aniruddh called his all friends to tell Raghav about their life story.

The story went back to 1992, where on the first day Aniruddh is given an H4 hostel which was not so famous and allotted for losers only. The residents of the H4 continuously performed poorly in the annual sports General Championships that’s why they were known as “losers.” At first, Aniruddh was not satisfied with his block and also told the clerk to change, but the clerk notified that it will take time. But afterward, Aniruddh develops a close relationship with 5 unique character friends and also started dating Maya.

Once, a senior successful student of H3 block “Raggie” processes the application of Aniruddh quickly because he knew his skills, and also gave him an offer to shift to H3, but Aniruddh rejected his offer, because he wants to be with his friends. Raggie told him that, previously, one guy also rejected his offer, and everyone called him loser after that so, Aniruddh thought to participate in this competition, and remove the loser tag from the H4 block.

Aniruddh participated in the competition with his friends, and made up till finals, but lost in football match and H3 wins. Though, they removed the tag of losers from the H4 block. The movie comes back to present, Aniruddh and his friends tell Raghav that winning and losing is a part of life, instead of being stressed, learn from the failure. They also told him to face the surgery and the upcoming life and forget about winning and losing.
