Gone Girl is a movie based on the novel Gone Girl, written by Gillian Flynn.
It's an ultimate thriller novel, with a very shocking page-turner that embeds the readers inside the twists and turns of the story. This depicts the story when things aren't in favor.
For Amy, it didn't matter what it would cost to Nick or his family. And that depicts her insanity. A psychopath but not less than a horrific beauty with brains, who was a trap for her spouse.
The whole story loops in the disappearance of Amy Dunne on their fifth wedding day. Amazing Amy did so amazingly well to portray her disappearance as if she was murdered. The media and public believe her man as the suspect of murder.
Nick tries everything to get even a mere hint of her, but she is one-two steps ahead each time. Her ways of punishing Nick for his misdeeds were wrong but admirable at the same time.
At last, she returns when she feels that Nick wants her back. He tries to expose the lady by gathering proofs against her, but Amazing Amy has her ways to get the things done. She uses their unborn child to keep herself guarded.
Another aspect of this marvelously horrifying novel was the relationship between Nick and his twin sister Margo who superbly fights for his brother's justice and supports him, notwithstanding her doubts.
