The Invisible Avenger (???? T?mei ningen, lit. Invisible Man) is a 1954 Japanese film directed by Motoyoshi Oda. The film is a loose adaptation of the H.G. Wells story The Invisible Man.

The film was moderately successful, but was overshadowed by the huge crossover success of Godzilla, earlier in 1954.

The Invisible Avenger was shot in black-and-white at academy ratio. The special effects were directed by Eiji Tsuburaya. David Kalat noted that Tsuburaya's special effects in Tomei Ningen were "clever but sparingly used."
The Invisible Avenger was distributed in Japan by Toho on December 29, 1954. Any release of the film in the United States is undetermined.
Daiei Film produced two similar films featuring invisibility, Tomei ningen arawaru (The Transparent Man) in 1949, and Tomei ningen to Hai-Otoko (Transparent Man vs the Fly-Man) in 1957.
