La Bestia y la Espada Magica (The Beast and the Magic Sword) is a 1983 Spanish/Japanese horror film that is the tenth in a long series about the werewolf Count Waldemar Daninsky, played by Paul Naschy. Although the film was a Spanish/ Japanese co-production, it was never theatrically shown in Japan, nor in any other country outside of Spain. The film was never dubbed in English, nor offered on VHS or DVD in the U.S. Paul Naschy's wife and his two sons appeared in a brief cameo in this film.

This film was followed by the 11th film in the series, entitled Licantropo, years later.

In the 16th Century, the lycanthrope Waldemar Daninsky goes from his native Europe to Japan, seeking a way to cure himself of being a werewolf.
