Screenplay
The film centres on an armed robbery within a bingo hall, within a background in the underworld of drug dealing, sexual perversion and police corruption (within the justice system, including a political assassination). Woven through this are the stories of 2 very different women from opposite backgrounds. The robber (Maria) fleeing the scene is picked up by a young woman (Kiti). They start as vulnerable, (being threatened and also betrayed), they also start fighting against each other to gain the proceeds of the robbery. As they gets to know each other, they gain respect from each other, and this helps them fight the angry masculine counterparts. They eventually become sisters-in-arms and get the money.
