Aahvanam (English: Invitation) is an acclaimed 1997 Telugu film directed by S. V. Krishna Reddy. It was remade by the same director in Hollywood as Divorce Invitation in 2012. The film was inspired by ANR's old Telugu film Pelli Naati Pramanalu (1959), produced and directed by K. V. Reddy.

The film centers on a happily married couple, where the husband believes money is the only important thing, and not family ties, affections and respect for cultural or traditional values or marriage values. He married one nice traditional girl with Hindu moral values by tricking them for money. The husband runs into a wealthy unmarried business woman and teenager.
