Angular JS 1.6. X is the stable version.
It is officially called AngularJS. Some people call this version as Angular 1.0. This version came out in October 20, 2010. After Angular 1.0, in 2016, Angular 2 was released. It was written from scratch and is fully different from Angular 1 or JS. The third update, Angular 4, was launched in the year 2017.
