Question 13- what is the meaning of Prospectus?
Answer 13 - Prospectus means any document described or issued as a prospectus and include a red- hirring prospectus referred to in section 32 or shelf prospectus referred to section 31 or any notice, circular , advertisement or other documents inviting offer from the public for the subscription or purchase of any security of a body corporate.
DEFINITION OF SHELF PROSPECTUS SECTION 31 - It means a prospectus in respect of which the securities or class of securities included there in are issued for subscription in one or more issues over a certain period ( not more than a year) without the issue of further prospectus.
DEFINITION OF RED-HIRRING PROSPECTUS SECTION 32 - It mean a prospectus which does not include complete particular of the quantum or price of the security included there in.
