WINE SHOPS OPENED AFTER 40 DAYS OF LOCKDOWN

In the spread of coronavirus pandemic, the government had decided to open the wine shops after 40 days of lockdown. On Monday the wine shops were opened followed by chaos in the shops. People desperately want wine without thinking about their health.

People standing in chaos without following social distancing are buying wine, which is led to traffic jams in the areas. Most of the people who were buying wine were without a mask. The crowd which was standing outside the wine shops couldn't be handle by the police because there would be a high chance of spreading coronavirus.

Maharashtra has 566 wine shops, nearly wines worth Rs.44 crore are sold in Maharashtra during the lockdown. People have gone out of their mind for buying wine. The Maharashtra government collected 11 crores of revenue on day 1. In this pandemic people don’t have money to feed their families but people have the money to buy the wine.

In some cities due to crowds the Government has also the option of home delivery of wine. Standalone shopkeepers opened their shops on some of the areas of the red zone before declared the most patients of coronavirus. And also without following social distancing people were buying wine in the red zone.

People know that consuming wine is injurious to health but then too people are consuming wine during these hardships. People should take care of their health and support their families during this outbreaking of coronavirus.

The benefits of lockdown are gone because of this. People are wandering without work. Roaming here and there breaking the rules that Government had made. People should think of their health and safety.

People should stay home and try to do multiple things and improve their skills.
