Reasons for failure

ØWhen you look at Yahoo! main web page, its full of junk and clutter.

ØI think Yahoo! management was weak and not so smart.

ØYahoo! mail was bad, insecure, it offered little storage early on, the appearance is ugly, security sucks (no https until following other companies), the design was not updated for so many years.

ØYahoo! Has Never Had A Real Vision.

Comparison with software’s working in similar domain

Google algorithm is known to be better than Yahoo. This is because it favors quality content over well-established links and pages, unlike Yahoo which still prefers old and well- established websites.
