Why do we program?

In today's fast paced world, there's no limit of knowledge and technological advancement. Learning is a life long process and every human being has to inculcate in himself/herself the art of consistent learning. We as consumers of technology observe various miraculous changes or incidents around us every day. It strikes curiousity in our minds and the efforts taken to find out the answers to our questions is the process of learning. While learning new things, we must not focus on the forecoming outcome but absorb the little minute details that occur while learning.

Technology and science have developed itself so much that it has become difficult for us to achieve expertise in every bit of it. But having a basic knowledge or idea of every technological concept is possible easily. Programming and automation is such a technology that every human must know. Not only engineers or researchers are the creators of technology but the world as a whole is a creator and consumer of technology. To reduce redundant human effort and solve everyday problems we use automated machines. Automation is done by encoding a peice of code or a program into the machine such that it gives us the desired output. Programming makes tasks easy. Programming increases our analytical skills. It builds in us the ability of creative and critical thinking. We learn to find the solutions of our problems on our own. For some, programming acts as a stress buster. The syntax errors that we get when our code is broken is just a way of machines telling us to find another efficient way. Programming enhances our skills and changes our perspective of looking at problems.
