Which programming language should you learn?



      Programming languages have evolved over the past decades proving to be highly beneficial and regularly used in the industries and corporate world. Understanding the language of computers in order to comprehend and handle data effectively has become the need of the hour. If you are starting to dive into the wonderful world of programming then it doesn't actually matter which programming language to start with as the main motive is to stick to the basics of a particular language.


        There are a variety of programming languages to choose from such as Python, Java, Ruby, HTML, JavaScript, C language, C++, c#, Objective C, PHP, SQL, Swift and many more. There are dozens of languages used in the industries. Each programming language was invented for a different need and each one is going to be the best depending upon the requirements and constraints of the project at hand. When you start coding, you tend to get used to writing codes, learn a lot of basic skills such as writing the correct syntax, how to run your program and debugging it. These basic skills are very important and are transferable in any programming language. These basics lay the foundation for the journey of programming.


       The most common way of choosing your programming language is to find which one is the most trending or widely used. Considering the demand of developers for that language in the market leaves us with the most popular programming language. Another option is to read a few lines of codes of various programming languages and find out which one looks interesting or understandable to you. Because, it does not matter from where you start, what matters is whether you start or not.
