Unpressurizing the lockdown pressure

With the lockdowns in place and now the unlock phases being started everything has taken quite a toll on our mental health. It might seem like a piece of cake on the outside but well we are all aware of how it really feels. Change is inevitable yet any changes to our immediate surroundings or in our life is challenging. And most of us have been successful in dealing with all the changes. And there are some who haven’t. To those unsuccessful ones, I get you because I wouldn’t say I have been successful either. No matter how many tasks we are given work from home is never the same. We are still struggling to get to adjusting with it. And just as we think we are able to they bring in the changes and we are back to square one and the time only seems to be passing too soon with no work getting done. Therefore what should we do? What are we supposed to do? I have no idea either. But let’s start with a routine, I know maintaining a routine is hard yet let us believe we can do it. It does not necessarily need to be a rigid one. Let’s start with adjusting our sleep schedule by sleeping early and waking up early or atleast try waking up earlier than the previous day. On attaining the required sleep cycle we can work on the rest of our to-do list by sneakily sliding them into our schedule. The only key to achieving these is: Don’t think of it as something I need to do or should do but something that I like to do and something I am doing for me. That’s why adjust it and don’t force it, never that.
