TIPS TO REDUCE STAGE FRIGHT.



Stage frights are scary and reoccurring in nature sometimes, but these are those little opportunities that elevate your career. So let's fight and reduce the phobia from its very root. I began to jot down some of the healthy ways to overcome stage fright. The following points will make you understand it better.


1. Conceptualize your favorable results. Always focus on your strengths and the ability to remain calm during a challenging situation. 


2. Practice ways to cool down your mind, soul and body. You might consider practicing meditation, yoga, deep breathing, etc.  


3. Practice makes a man perfect. Always be prepared with the content you are about to present. Practice it alound in front of your mirror. 


4. try to make eye connection with your audience. Greet them with a big smile, think of them as a family and not enemies. 


5. Stand or sit in a confined posture. Be comfortable in it and ease out. You should not leave an impression or a mark of nervousness at all. 


6. Refuse to bring up thoughts of self-doubts once you reach the stage.


7. Shift the focus from yourself and your fear of your true purpose. Contributing something of value to the audience. 


8. Give up the notaion of being perfect and accept the fact that mistakes are fine. 


9. Don't be pretentious, be yourself and act natural. 


10. Stop thinking about the event too much, you might end up scaring yourself to what might go wrong. Thus remember to focus on thoughts that are calming and reassuring.
