TECHNOLOGY TYPE AND ITS IMPACT.

        In the current time, people can't imagine their life without technology . Surrounding us various  technologies are helping people live life with more luxury. Technology is the set of knowledge , skills, experience and technique through which human change , transfer and use our environment in order to create tools, machine, products and services that meet our needs and desire.

        The word technology comes from the Greek tekne(technical, art, skill) and logos( knowledge) technology is a sort of knowledge or skill used for employing and controlling factors of production that in turn , could lead to the output of products and services.

1. Product technology 

2. Process technology 

3. Management technology. 

        Product technology- product technology is the information that specifies a product's features and usage.

        Process technology - process technology is the knowledge used in the processing or manufacturing of a product.

        Management technology - management technology is managerial skills required for running a business . It helps the firms in optimal utilisation of its resources.

   A firm possessing superiority in any or all of these three types of technology maintain an edge over other firms.

HOW TECHNOLOGY NEGATIVELY EFFECT US -

1. About 35% of the population believe that technology affect the society , people moods and action in a negative way.

2. As a result people are becoming more lazy and they don't feel the dire need to step outside of their home to find entertainment and fun in things.

TECHNOLOGY CLASSIFICATION-  Technology not only provides objects or materials goods such as knives , computer or spacecraft also include all those methodologies and intangible goods which satisfy our needs and desire , so we can classify the technology into 2 groups:

1. HARD TECHNOLOGY- Are those that give us tangible goods.

2. SOFT TECHNOLOGY - Are those that give us intangible organizational methods such as lean manufacturing developing and selling business strategies , financial accounting systems , creation and development of software , coaching are example of soft technology.

   Usually soft technologies are related to economy , management and administration , sociology while hard technologies are related to the field of physics and chemistry. 

There are other way to classify and identity existing technology classifications as : 

FLEXIBLE TECHNOLOGY - Encompasses the set of technologies that can be in many application areas , the microchips is used in multiple products like television , telephone etc.

FIXED TECHNOLOGY - Encompasses the whole of technology can only be used for a product or specific area such as fungcides are product that are only used for the removal of bacteria , fungi and virus.

    Technology has changed the way we track money , do business and much more. It is becoming a huge aspect of social life as well as communication. We are seeing more of the work force not shaving to commute , but work from home , which can change the way we design living communities.
