Self-Love: Your Greatest Responsibility!

We all know how to love other people but don’t know how to love ourselves. It is the most difficult thing a human being can do to inner selves. Let us understand the meaning of self-love and how you can accomplish this.

What is Self-Love?

When you genuinely love yourself without any conditions, and accept who you are, whether anything happened in your life or anything that you do, still you love yourself with the same intensity that is self-love and true self-love.

If you are in love with yourself, that doesn’t mean whatever you like you’ll do.

For example- A boy named Justin likes to smoke cigarettes. He always does 5 times a day to satisfy his pleasure. But that pleasure is harmful to his body no matter how much he enjoys. He might be very relaxed by doing this, but did he thought that his body has been suffering so much?

From the above example, we can see that this boy seems to be in love with himself. But actually, he isn’t, but with his pleasures. If he had been in love, then he cares for himself. Self-care is also self-love.

If you can do the right thing, that is self-love. You should look at yourself first, what is right for you, not what your mind is saying. And if you are going on with your mind that doesn’t favorable for you, then you’re destroying yourself, you’re spoiling your future, you’re harming your body, you’re killing your mind, and ruining your life.

Whatever is right for you in the long term and you are doing it consistently, that means you love yourself and vice versa. And if you’re thinking that you are not getting a particular thing, then you should know that life doesn’t give you what you want. It gives you who you are, life will see your capabilities, and what you deserve.

Self-love is self-acceptance, self-care, self-discipline, self-confidence, self-believe, selflessness, self-respect, self-worth, self-esteem, self-beauty, self-control, and whatnot.
