ROLE OF YOUTH IN NATION BUILDING

      Youth are the future citizen of a country which represents a highly dynamic , energetic and highly ambitious population of country. It is said that when the Youth Unite , they can change the direction of the wind , they have the power to change the government as well as the system whether it is political or social system.

       Let's us know about the word "Nation" is concerned with the people for living under a territory under a government . And building is not a construction or anything it's development . In the development of nation youth play a vital role and as we all know that a good seeds makes the good crop that means when the youth are good i e.  when the younger generation are good thana automatically the nation will be developed. Youth are not only the "Leader " of tomorrow , but also parents of today. Young people are social actors of change and progress. They are a crucial segment of a nation's development. Their contribution , therefore is highly needed .

      The term Nation building or national development , is usually used to refer to a constructive process of engaging all citizens in building social cohesion , economic prosperity and political stability in a nation in an inclusive and democratic way. Going by the definition , it is seen that all citizens are involved in building or developing a nation. Thus , the involvement of youth in national development is a must . In fact , youth play one of the most important role in nation building.

    IN  THE WORDS OF JAMES , " YOUTH IS THE JOY , THE LITTLE BIRD THAT HAS BROKEN OUT OF THE EGGS AND IS EAGERLY WAITING TO SPREAD OUT ITS WINGS IN THE OPEN SKY OF FREEDOM AND HOPE ". 

    Youth is the spring of life . It is the age of discovery and dreams. In order to develop the nation youth must be encouraged and supported in order to participate in all kinds of aspects like education , engineer , doctor politics , armed forces etc. Because in my view , when they participate in different kinds of activity then new thoughts, fresh ideas shall come and can change the country and develop the nation economically and socially. They have bubbling enthusiasm which has to be regulated and utilized the right way. This can surely ensure rapid national development . After all , all the people can only exercise their full potential when they are young and energetic . Youth is that period in which revolutionary thoughts spring to mind and these thoughts shape the world we live in. 

       Bill Gates , the founder of MICROSOFT CORPORATION is a living example. He had a revolutionary thoughts and he exercised his thought and look , how he has changed the world today ! 

       The policies and development works of a nation can only be carried out by the youth . As said earlier , they are the social actors of change and progress. They carry out the policies and do all the development works which older people are incapable of actually carrying out. They make policies and plans but those are implemented by the young people. That's why youth are considered the pillars of development . 

       Youth constitute major portion of the world's population. About 25% of the world population is youth. Thus , such a major portion of population cannot be ignored . Add to it the energy and determination , youth can be considered to be almost the whole population because a young person can do the works of several ko people . Moreover , they are the leaders of future. So the youth play probably the most important role in national development.

      A members of society have a role based on their status. The roles and responsibilities of each member is different. If all members of society to follow their role properly , it should be called the " GOOD CITIZEN OF SOCIETY AND THE NATION " . The first thing to do  ; 

1. Intend to study 

2.  Be honest

3. Economize

4. Harmonious

5. Help other people

6. Discipline

7. Follow the traffic rules. 

POWER OF YOUTH :  The youth are our life and nation. They will make our country proud. The country will be recognized. The youth just need the support from their fellow citizens. And they will perform their duties. If harmonious , this is our city livable , if you want to make the country prosperous , just as a good citizen . Be the change you want to see in the world . Doing the civic duty it's that easy just you intend to do it. In my own view, youth does not need any ignition i.e If youth are motivated then there automatically develop the nation and make step forward to serve the nation. And also in my own view youth are like "Clay" because as we all know that they can be moulded in any shape. And in the similar way youth can be moulded in two things. In a bad way and good way. When we come to bad things ,  today's time youth are mostly attracted towards the bad things like involving in criminal activity , terrorism etc . And when we talk about good things then youth can be attracted toward higher  education , innovative things , discoveries , doctors , software engineer , inventing technological things etc. In some cases development of country are measured in terms of youth . When the country has a good youth then automatically the country have a good economically  strength.  

          In conclusion , the role of the youth in the nation building is crucial . They are problem solvers, have a positive influence on other young people and the nation . They are extremely ambitious . They have the ability to create an identity for themselves and move the nation forward. However , they will not be able to do this without the support of their government and fellow youths. So the youths can make their beautiful land flourish and shine in success.
