The World Health Organisation declared COVID-19 as a Public Health Emergency of International concern and it has emerged as the greatest challenge of the era. The virus has spread to every continent except Antarctica. Therefore it is the sole responsibility of each and every citizen to undertake necessary precautionary measures in order to stop the spread of the virus. Here's a list of 7 easy rules to follow in order to stay safe.
1. STAY HOME!
Home is the safest place at this time of health crisis. Staying home will keep us away from performing the actions that may result in the spread of the virus. There might be a possibility of an undetected carrier of the virus on the streets.
2. WASH YOUR HANDS MORE OFTEN
Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water for atleast 20 seconds at regular intervals throughout the day.
3. NO CONTACT WITH FACE
Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.
4. SOCIAL DISTANCING
Maintain a safe, that is 6 feet distance with others. Remember, some people who may not even show the symptoms may be able to spread the virus.
5. COVER IT UP
Make sure you cover your face with a cloth in public or while coughing or sneezing.
6. DISINFECT
Clean and disinfect frequently touched things such as switches, tables, taps,etc on a regular basis using detergent or any disinfectant.
