Pocket-friendly places to eat in Delhi.



Are you a foodie and enjoy the indian delicacies? Then no place in this world is better than Delhi! The lip-smacking street food here tastes like heaven. From the famous aalo-puri to the paranthe waale Gali, to chaat-papdi and golgappe, chole bhature, butter chicken and what not! Delhi is exceptionally famous for it's delicious variety of cuisines, and we can't stop gushing about those mouth-watering food already.

1. PARANTHE WALI GALI. 


Nearest metro station: Chandini Chowk metro station, yellow line. The evergreen beauty of Delhi lies in the small streets where North Indian food is cooked and served with love! The popular ones among them is chandini chowk's paranthe waali gali located in old Delhi. Highly recommended for it's delicious varieties of parantha tastes no less than Paradise. The narrow streets has zillions of items to offer. Big thumbs to chandini chowk's paranthe waali gali and a must visit. 


2. CHAWRI BAZAR. 


Nearest metro station: Chawari Bazar metro station, yellow line. The place offers an amazing variety of indian street food. It is well known for it's kachori, bedmi Puri, lassi, barfi etc. The best thing about this place is the additional food that is been presented with the main itme. The pickle or aalu ki sabzi always steals the show! So when in Delhi to try the food in Chawari Bazar. 


3. KHAN MARKET. 


The place itself says everything. Khan market is a very well known for its mughlai cuisine. The kaathi rolls, paneer Tikka, soya masala chaap is a must try for vegetarians, however, mutton Barra and galouti kababs are a must have dish for non-vegetarians in Delhi. The shops here are as old as 16 years here and have variety of other cuisines available too. 


4. BENGALI MARKET. 


Nearest metro station: Mandi house, violet line. Sweet lovers don't worry, we're not done until we discuss the highly famous sweet shops in Delhi. The Bengali market is known for its chaats and sweets. The rosogulla and Cham Cham is undoubtedly the best things to have after the main course. It's unique tastes leaves you with such an awe and the imprint is really a lifetime one. Apart from that the flavours of chaats and chutneys tastes exceptionally good, so don't forget to visit Bengali market when in Delhi. 


5. CONNAUGHT PLACE. 


Nearest metro station: Rajiv Chowk, blue-yellow line. Last but the not the least is the very well known place in Delhi , located in central zone CP is celebrated for it's lavish cafes and bars but a very little known about the mouth-watering varieties of street food available. From rajma-chawal to kadhi chawal and famous bunta satisfies the taste buds phenomenally. Infact the different types of paans offered here are super good to have. Fire paan, ice paan, chocolate, vanilla and butterscotch paans are a must have too.
