Introduction of biotechnology in plantation culture have brought bright life and scope of agriculture in India and world . introducing new yielding crop and developed  and modified gene of plants against pathogens  and biotic and abiotic stress have gained  popularity .

With genetic engineering scientist have developed many new methodologies to build variety of plant species which can give better results of breeding ,better livestock and crop quality. 

We have got a lot of knowledge about plant genomes and have got many techniques too to manage our crops yields .this technology allows  the isolation and characterisation of specific piece  s of DNA and by cloning the sequence into bacterial cells ,plants can be replicated to yields more.
