Nepotism: A Profanity

Nepotism is the most popular topic which is babbling around at present and is almost played in every profession. We often see this kind of activity used in Bollywood only, but in reality, it is everywhere in the world that may be in your family also. Firstly, we will understand what does nepotism means.

Meaning:

Nepotism means when powerful people help their relatives, supporters, or friends get ahead regardless of merit.

Though they have a precise amount of talent they can get a job, they can get a promotion, and they can even get admission to college despite of less marks.

Nepotism in Bollywood:

The most famous platform of nepotism. If you’re born in a family where your parents are already in Bollywood then you have a high chance of getting entry on a big screen without any struggle. Furthermore, if you come from outside of Bollywood, then you have to strive a lot to sustain in the industry and come in a big screen.

Sometimes, most of the proficient people left behind because of the nepotism they face in the industry. Because, nobody is their Godfather except the people who can raise them by giving support and encouragement (that maybe the audience).

One of the regrettable examples is of Sushant Singh who committed suicide because of Nepotism (as per the sources) and in one of the interview he stated “Nepotism can co-exist and nothing would happen but at the same time if you deliberately don’t allow the right talent to come up then there is a problem then one day the whole structure and whole industry will collapse”

Though this is not criminal, it is unethical. It is good for a shorter period even for those who are benefited, but subsequently its pitfall for the industry if we see for a longer-term.
