MORNING RITUAL TO KEEP YOU HAPPY AND ENERGIZED.



How many of you consider waking up early a daunting task? Do you feel sick about those early risers who are always emboldened with energy? Well following a routine with those intimidating morning walks are a matter of excruciating annoyance to almost every second person across the Globe. This isn't rocket science though and I personally observe several people who desperately want to adopt a healthy lifestyle and a morning routine perhaps always fail to do so. Ever wondered why?


Well, let me tell you 'the do's and don't,' to keep in mind for a happy start of the morning.



  • THE DO'S 



  1. EARLY TO BED. 


A reminder to all the party crawlers and binge-watchers: staying up late won't help you fix the ever-growing problem of starting a morning routine. Try to prepare bed at around 10:00-10:30 if possible or maximum by 11:00(on weekdays), this will automatically help you to wake up early in the morning. 


2. LEAVE THE BES IMMEDIATELY.


 


The task can be a little hard but once you build a habit for the same, this soon will become a happy ritual for the day. As soon as you see yourself up in the morning, try leaving the bed immediately to avoid the sudden urge to sleep more(which may end up for hours)


3. WASH YOUR FACE. 


Well, once you clear the number one hurdle, time for another one(perhaps not very difficult now). So washing your face and brushing your teeth gently will help you to eliminate further sluggishness of the sleep. This step rejuvenates your senses and will help you to start your day with a fresh note.  


4. DRINK WATER. 


H2O has N number of advantages, including the habit of drinking water in the morning eliminates toxins from your body, keeping you fresh, glowing and hydrated. You may even consider adding lemon and honey to keep your digestive system healthy. 


5. EXERCISE. 


Working out in the morning is an excellent way to establish a routine. Workout in the form of yoga, walk or aerobics helps you to feel energized and prepared for the day. 



  • THE DON'T 


1. SAY NO TO PHONES AT NIGHT. 


Try to avoid the excessive usage of the phone; it is perhaps the most dangerous element that can ruin your entire schedule. Yes, ladies and gentlemen say no to phone calls after 10:30-11:00(at least on weekdays), and instead, spend time with your family and loved once. 


2. STOP HITTING THE SNOOZE BUTTON. 


One big mistake we all happen to commit is setting alarm one after the other or resetting them for a short time later to allow for more rest, this provides us an excuse to wake up late. Let me tell you a little secret; ask your pillow to wake you up early(I'm telling you this with my personal experience). Pillow plays no role here rather it's our subconscious mind that wakes us up early. I mean yes you may even try this little hack.


3. MINUS THE EXCESSIVE CONSUMPTION OF CAFFEINE.


Caffeine addiction is a lesser known reason that keeps you up all night. We often kill our lethargic attitude at work by drinking coffee; it indeed provides a good start to the day perhaps excessive consumption may cause insomnia. It no way promotes a good quality of sleep, moreover coffee is addictive. So better consume smartly. 


4. STOP BINGE WATCHING.


We occur to develop the habit of binge-watching our favorite TV series at night, all thanks to Netflix and Amazon prime, although you can try breaking this awful binge-watching habit by setting alarm, disabling autoplay for your streaming services or pacing yourself. These little habits will help you to avoid the reoccurrence of the holy blunder of staying up all night.


And once you develop these little habits then following a morning routine will be nothing like a nightmare. Give yourself some time, show your body some love and care. This is all that you need after all. :)
