Mobile computing

Mobile computing is a way of interaction between humans and computers, where computer enables the data, audio and video transmissions. It involves 3 entities.

• Mobile communication


• Mobile hardware


• Mobile software.

Adhoc and infrastructure networks are used, along with protocols, various formats of data, network properties, and concrete technologies. Mobile devices and components, and software handles characteristics and requirements of applications.

This technology enables the transmission of data from device to device without physical links or cables, i.e. wireless connection. Using the concept, mobiles and laptops can transfer the data without connecting to a physical link. Users can access and transmit data remotely, most reliably and fast.

Mobile communication
The infrastructure is employed altogether, so as to ensure seamless and reliable communication and data transmission. Various protocols, services, bandwidth, and portals facilitate and support these services. Data formats are also specified, to avoid collisions with other systems.

Mobile Hardware
These are the mobile devices or components which access mobility, demand data access and transmission. They can be laptops, mobile phones, tablets, Personal computers, PDA's. They have receptor mediums, to sense and receive incoming signals. They can also send the signals, and are called full duplex systems. These devices use a wireless network, which may be already established.

Mobile software
These are the programs that run on hardware. Softwares serve as an engine of mobile devices to run them. They act as an operating system, which enables to serve the requirements of the network and establish the communication.
