INSTRUCTIONS TO PLAY CRICKET



Guidelines


Stage 1: Gather individuals Gather twenty-two players and two umpires on a 350-foot long, oval-formed field with a 66-foot-long playing zone, or pitch, in the center, and separation the players into two groups.


Stage 2: Gather hardware Get the cricket ball, a cricket bat, wickets, stumps, and bails. Set the wickets up on either end of the pitch. Wickets include three vertical stumps and two flat bails.


Stage 3: Set up the field Set up play by sending the handling group onto the pitch, to attempt to get the ball and keep runs from being scored. Pick one player on the handling group to be the bowler. the bowler will take the ball and remain behind the wicket inverse the hitter. Choose a wicket guardian for squat behind the wicket behind the hitter.


TIP: The bowler and wicket attendant should wear defensive rigging to stay away from injury.


Stage 4: Set up the hitters Send two players of the batting group to bat - a striker and a non-striker. The bowler runs and pitches the ball to the striker, who endeavors to hit the ball. Stage 5: Know the outs Know the methods of getting "out." Stage 7: Win by scoring the most runs. An "inning" is finished when everybody on the batting group has batted. After each group plays one inning, the group with the most runs is the champ.
