Indian Education System

As the paths of the long journey of education is traced, one thing that comes to everybody's  mind is gurukul, the beginning of the education system unfolds the truths about various systems of education, how dilution has been made and how the present education differs from that of the past education The more we understand about the needs and uniqueness of the education system in our country, we must focus on the loopholes thereafter created as well. As large as India's education system demands skills, schools and colleges need to focus on the present scenario where merely things rotten and taken out is not all today's world about but there should be consistent and newness will be the game changing factor.

With the literacy rate of 74.04%, India needs to move ahead with a strong armor of skill based and practical education. Gone are the days of importance of learning on the basis of marks, this might have ensured just the ranks on the basis of merit but lacks everywhere in the corporate work  culture. To understand the deel roots of education, we must understand the areas of our lacking and how can they be strengthened. When Lord Thomas Babington Macaulay visited India in 1830s, who has the right to be called the changer of Indian Education System. English had been chosen the most important subject and thus to be taught in all the schools and colleges, this not only created inequality for those who couldn't afford it but even today this is seen as the symbol of education.

Even today the systems of inequality in our Education system prevails, there need not be any difference in the education of a government school and a private school but also, at much higher level this shouldn't be the criteria of judgement. Counrties having superpower invest and strengthen the primary thing of the process of development. To be able to move forward we must, address and think about the roadblocks, in our case this is the stereotyoe mentality  and unaffordability of the people coming from poorer sections of the society. We as whole can also contribute our part to the process of strengthening and building the Indian Education system better than before. Schemes like "Each one teach one" or setting up NGOs to spread the word of digitalization or with the purpose of teaching, we can move ahead and give India the path of light.
