A global spread of coronavirus has put Government under severe pressure and they declared lockdown a few days ago. Due to this many of the teenagers got affected because of lockdown! You must be thinking why they are affected though they don’t have any virus?
This has created a lot of impact on youth as the exams are postponed till the further notice, students are not studying at all and the habit of studying is slowly getting removed from them. Further Schools, Colleges, Universities are declared to close because of coronavirus so that the children remains safe but on the other hand their time is getting wasted, they are not utilizing this time to study for the exams rather they are watching television, web series, movies. They are also scrolling the social media pages as it has become a major addiction to them.
As junk food is not available to the youth, they are becoming frustrated because they are so addicted to it, some of them are threatening to their parents to get the food from anywhere. Many of the people stay up late at night and wake up late in the morning or we can say they directly wake up at noon.
These has become their habits and definitely will create more problems when the lockdown is over. Some things will help them to prevent this addiction. Teachers should conduct online lectures, give the students assignments, conducts test, so that the time should be utilized as well as they develops their skills also.
Remember this “Recovery from addiction requires hard work, a proper attitude, learning skills and acquiring knowledge.” Addiction is a symbol of not growing up! So utilize this time to the fullest and make this addiction to a rejection.
