How Covid-19 will affect the technology in India?

Covid-19 pandemic has already affected almost every sector in India. It has been ‘all losses’ due to this pandemic. Life is at risk! people are bound to their homes, for the sake of being safe. We all cannot deny the fear of getting infected by the Covid-19 virus. Being careful and taking precautions is being the next step towards the safer you. Companies have turned down employees as they don’t have sufficient funds to actually pay salary to the employees. This pandemic has a straight and direct effect on various sectors, one of which is technology factor. Since companies are left with no option other than offering work in a work-from-home scenario. As people are doing all their office work from home, there are people who are spending time watching series on Netflix and Amazon prime, or watching movies on websites like youtube.com, dailymotion.com hotstar.com etc., which means that the internet usage has increased to lot extent these days. Now more internet usage means that the people not only are using internet for work, they are also using it for entertainment, and to find something to do in covid-19 time. Anyhow this covid-19 is not going to come to an end soon. This will go on further for months. So, the companies will switch to more ‘work from home’ pattern. For this they will require more set-ups to bring it into action. So now, more focus will be on developing the applications based on Digital Marketing. Every other application will have to work with the Digital Marketing. The websites will be using Digital Marketing platform to promote their product. Next is the era of developing more and more e-commerce websites as all the business can only run on e-commerce now. Also, since people are at home, spending their time surfing internet watching movies, so the entertainment industry is also planning to release the movies into the websites like Amazon-Prime. Now people will be able to access the movies at their home itself. All the booking reservations will be done online. All this will bring technological revolution into the industry. As far as the small scale-industry’s development is concerned, the technologies they are going to use and how quickly they are going to bring their company to a level where work can be done through new technologies. The Indian economy has fall down to a lot extent. To normalise the downfall in economy, now ‘Make-In-India’ will be implemented. Products will be developed in Indian based companies. More Indian based companies mean more employment. Anyhow after covering all the losses due to this pandemic, we would come up becoming a developed country as well.
