HACKS FOR A PERFECT MONSOON.

Monsoon season is all about rain. The struggle to remain constant with your fashionista outfit gets real. We can't afford to let this season dampen our sense of style. Ladies, we got to handle this situation before we are drenched in it after all. Well, don't you worry I have made a small catalogue for y'all to dress this monsoon without any tussle.

1. COMFORT IS THE KEY.

Try to get rid those extra-thick cloth materials which takes a lot of time to dry. You may thus avoid wearing denim jackets, shorts, jeans, skirts etc. Instead, give a try to loose fit bottoms like- wide-leg trousers, palazzos, cigarette pants, culottes or even midi skirts.

2. ADIEUS TO TIGHT FITS.

Stay away from figure-hugging clothes like bodycon dresses and tops, such types will cling your body when wet causing irritation and sweat. Wear clothes with light fabric which are easy to dry. For example cotton, khadi, linen etc. Get rid of synthetic fabric like nylon, polyester, acrylic right away. Such kind of material brings discomfort, especially during a rainy day.

3. EXPERIMENTING WITH SLEEVES.

Yes, an extremely important point here is wearing short sleeves or half sleeves garments during monsoon. You can think of off-shoulder or cold-shoulder dresses or tops also. Short sleeves will keep you fresh and will prevent water from clinging in.

4. LESS IS MORE.

Minimal accessorization is enough this monsoon. Get rid of the metal jewellery, necklaces, bracelets, earring and all, it might cause skin problem. Besides fashion accessories avoid tight water-absorbing footwear, they may cause bacterial growth. In fact, you might even consider wearing less makeup, keeping in mind all the humidity that rain brings

5. ALWAY BE UMBRELLA READY.

Yes, girls! an umbrella is a must this season after all precaution is better than cure. Always carry it with yourself wherever you go. Also, keep in mind to use water-resistant bags with polyester lining and closed zippers. Using open bags like totes can be problematic this rainy season. So, quit using them too.

Ultimately, monsoon brings cheer and fun to all of us, do not forget to let your hair down. Bring freshness to the way you choose your garments and accessories and enjoy all of this with a hot cup of coffee.
