GOVT. JOB - PROS AND CONS

Here are a few benefits to getting a job in the public sector:

1. Adaptability: Many people have the erroneous view that public service time is tight and that change is not really possible. However, in reality, the government has made arrangements for other work schedules. Last year, the RBI gave their officers flexible working hours. This practice helps maintain a healthy balance of functioning.

2. Holidays: A weekend holiday is a favorite activity of every working person. Those who work in government offices enjoy the holidays. In India, there are many festivals and they cover most of the holiday list in the Indian calendar. So, as a government official, you will have these holidays so you can spend quality time with family and friends.

3. Outstanding: This is an additional benefit given to government officials, either at the state level or at the intermediate level. In the private sector you can go to a certain level of position or position and gain fame and fortune.

4. Low pressure: This is a benefit if you are dedicated to your job. However, if you are careless and lazy to fulfill your obligations, you can always feel the burden on your shoulders. Apart from that the pressure levels are relatively low in the public sector.

The disadvantages of working in the public sector are as follows:

1. Workplace: Many people complain about lazy workplace in government offices. According to them, only a handful of people work hard and complete their work on time.

2. Testing: You work hard; you are waiting for a test of your hard work. It is a global reality in the private sector and in government. However, critiques say that in a government office, hard-working people can remain anonymous.

3. Regulatory standards: In the public sector, regulatory standards are very low. Government services give you the freedom to work freely, but in a restricted environment.

Selection process: Although you will get thousands of government jobs in India but getting a job in government is difficult. And the selection process is long and complicated. Even if you are listed on the eligibility list, you still need to wait a long time before entering the office.

What's worse? If you are not selected, spend a few days (or months) and you may not feel like you are in the middle of the ocean. Moving from there and switching to private companies or at another time in government offices will take more time.
