Faizal Siddiqui's TikTok account Suspended



TikTok star Faizal Siddiqui's account has been suspended after he accused of glorifying acid attack in one of his video. Faizal, who had a 13million+ following on the video sharing application, posted a clip in which he is seen throwing a liquid on girl's face betraying him. The next scene shows woman's face deformed shown by use of heavy makeup. Before throwing the liquid onto girl's face , he dialogue "Tumhe usne chhorr diya jiske liya tumne mujha chhorra tha?".


Now, real-life acid attack survivor Laxmi Agrawal, post a video on TikTok, she heavily lashed out against the creator and said while people are working to stop thses crimes, people like him were taking the fight way back.


TikTok has taken down the video and suspended the account. "Keeping people on TikTok safe is a top priority and we make it clear in our Term of Service and Community Guidelines that clearly outlines what is not acceptable on our platform. As per the policy, we do not allow content that risks safety of others, promotes physical harm or glorifies violence against women. The behaviour in question violates our guidelines and we have taken down content, suspended the account, and are working with law enforcement agencies as appropriate," said a TikTok spokesperson.


In a statement released on Instagram, Faizal Siddiqui defended the video and indicated that it has bee misrepresented. The TikTok creator also apologised. "As a social media influencer, I realise my responsibility and apologize to anyone who was offended by the video," creator said in the statement.
