Ever occurred to you the real meaning of the term Holocaust, the word dates back to the time period of the second world war. Holocaust thus means the systematic state-sponsored killing of the six million Jewish men, women, and children by Adolf Hitler and the Nazis Germany. 

This was held as the one-stop solution to the Jewish question by the Germans. Holocaust museum is hence any of the several educational institutions and research center dedicated to preserving the experience of people who were victimized by Nazis and collaborators during the Holocaust (1933-1945).

Nazis considered Jews as the inferior race that posted a deadly menace to the German volk. Soon after Nazis came to the power they adopted measures to exclude Jews from Germany's economic, cultural, political and social life. The world war 2, on the other hand, provided them an official opportunity to exercise this control by the usage of concentration camps where thousand os Jews were supposedly killed every day.
