Unfortunately, there's a lot of misinformation about nutrition circulating on the internet. One common topic is the best time to eat fruit. There are claims about when and how you should consume fruit, as well as who should avoid it altogether.

Consuming fruits whenever you feel is not very healthy. To get the most out of eating fruits, here are some correct ways of eating fruits:



  • Eat fresh fruits. Don’t preserve them in your refrigerator for consuming it later

  • Eating a fruit is better than juice. Fruits contain fiber, which is good for the stomach

  • Eating fruits between meals is good. Do not immediately eat them after or before meals

  • Eat one fruit at a time. For instance, if you’re eating an apple, don’t eat mangoes at the same time


Pre-workout fruits: Guavas, Banana, Apples


Post workout, you can have the same fruits as mentioned above along with meals like milk and cereals/oats, dried fruit and nuts, eggs and toast, etc. Consume any regular meal that contains lean protein, starch, and vegetables to restore the energy lost.
