Delhi Parks and gardens re-open for public



This coronavirus (COVID-19 ) is affecting 212 countries and territories around the world. That’s why our government take stick decision to extend the lockdown fourth time. Two months ago, parks and public places were shut down due to COVID-19. But now the Delhi government has allowed to open some parks and garden only for specific hours, from 7 am to 10 am and during evening 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm. And there is no plans to re-open gym and yoga centers. 


People were only allowed to walk and jog in these parks and gardens. But open gyms, yoga and other activities remain prohibited. People also have to maintain social distancing and other guidelines.


An order issued by the civic agency on Wednesday stated that “ It has been decided to open parks and gardens of NDMC area, including Lodhi Garden, Nehru Park and Talkatora Garden, for public for limited purpose of walking, jogging and running on the walking tracks from May 21 till further orders. The parks will remain open between 7am and 10am and from3.30pm to 6.30pm. These have been opened as per the revised guidelines of the center and Delhi government for lockdown 4.0.”


And added “However, open gym, yoga and other such activities will not be allowed.”
