COMPARING THE EXPERIENCE OF READING FROM BOOK VS READING FROM PDFS

So one of my friends suggested me to read from PDF, as it is a cheap and readily available way to read. Moreover, since a very long time, I was looking for a specific genre that wasn't available in the public library for a while. The series of these unfortunate events forced me to use the internet. I remember reading a book on World War II and every single time when I use to open the home screen my suspected for using the phone over these short intervals. I mean isn't funny how you are introspected without having anything fishy going on in your life.

Well, this is my extremely personal experience that I wanted to share, perhaps talking about the ill-effects of staring phone for long hours is one never-ending debate. I still remember my frequent visits to an eye-specialist every now and then, and my eyes use to get very itchy, painful-red and watery after sometimes.

I won't beat around the bush, so let me get straight to the point, I'm not a technology-driven person, and for me reading a book from PDF was another way of damaging your eyesight. The real essence of reading has always been with reading it from its primary source, which is the book itself. Being an old school kid I have always relished reading books that way. I'm absolutely not in favour of not using gadgets because they lack pleasure. For the love of books I have, I solemnly suggest that until there's an emergency do not consider reading via electronic devices.
