Coding : A smarter way towards technology

     With tremendous growth in technology, it has become very important for each and every person to be in touch with day- to- day advancements in order to avail the technological benefits in daily life and routinal tasks. Machines and electronic devices are now the things we use everyday. They have the ability to make tasks easier and efficient. Automation is the technique of controlling or operating machines and devices automatically, according to our needs. In todays era, there is a huge demand for automated devices. Though there are a few techniques of automation which do not require coding but mechanical means, there are a number of automation methods which totally rely on coding. 

       Coding is a skill just like everything else. In order to master a skill all we need is to do is to do it a lot because, practice makes us perfect. But it is not quantity, it is quality that makes a huge difference while starting off with coding. The way to start coding is to just do it. For beginners, tutorials prove to be highly beneficial. Coding tutorials teach us and make us understand the fundamentals of the concerned coding language and help gain the rquired fluency. It trains us to develop a logical approach followed by basics such as algorithms, data structures,etc. But it doesn't mean that you actually learnt coding. Tutorials make you stick to them and limits the creativity. It doesn't guarantee the application of a newly-learnt skill. Ofcourse, tutorials are a great way to learn the basics but one should take the necessary efforts to take things from tutorials and apply them to their stuff. Without that crucial connection, those newly-learnt skills aren't flexed and therefore not retained. 

       Learning technology for the sake of learning it is a tough road to walk on and in this process, we generally tend to lose motivation for any further coding practices. Tech-based learning is an effcient way of practising coding after being fluent with the basic knowledge. Tech-based learning simply says 'learn by doing'. Application is the best teacher. Apply logics and algorithms in real-life problems to focus on the brighter side of technology. Start by building something for yourself like a website or an application that you would use. As it will be for your personal use and benefit you will pay attention to the minor technicalities and in that process of coding and fixing the bugs and errors, you will learn approach development towards tackling real-world problems. This is a proven method of learning coding languages. Working on a project is more motivating than brushing up usual concepts. Remember to start with the smallest chunk of code of your project. This will help you not get demotivated while coding. Starting with an easy and basic project helps in boosting confidence and gaining interest in coding.
