CloudOps vs. DevOps

What is CloudOps?
According to LinkedIn, CloudOps is short for "cloud operations." Also, CloudOps is "the development of best practices and processes that allow cloud-based platforms, and applications and data that reside there, for long-term efficiency."

CloudOps is actually the end of DevOps and traditional IT services used in cloud-based architecture. Most pre-cloud and storage organizations can maintain a network infrastructure (NOC). NOC has been a prominent place where IT professionals can manage and monitor network and server performance.

Now, many teams build resources where they don’t have to touch the servers hosting their service. However, this does not eliminate the need to work - it just means that alertness and alertness need to be clouded. Software developers, IT operations and security teams still need to work closely together when delivering new services or responding to production events.

Therefore, CloudOps does not only select DevOps practices. So, let’s go through some of the basics of DevOps, explain how it works and see how DevOps and CloudOps can work together.

What is DevOps?
DevOps is a way to build fast, collaborative relationships between development and IT operations. DevOps is about continuous human development, processes and tools to drive efficiency and collaboration across the organization. With better collaboration comes the best visibility throughout the life of software delivery. After all, with great visibility in the SDLC, you have a deeper visibility in the life story of the event.

As you can see, DevOps creates a cascading effect of performance improvement. By using small tweaks to people, processes and tools in all product development and health applications, you bring reliable services to market yourself faster. Whether your services are cloud-based or not, you can always find ways to improve. The implementation of DevOps should always be people-centered - it's about finding ways to make your people's lives easier.

Now that we’ve defined CloudOps and DevOps, let’s take a look at how they go and the amount CloudOps can offer DevOps teams.
