CASES OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE RAISED DURING LOCKDOWN

Recently, during lockdown we found that the cases of domestic violence increase day by day in India.

The Government declared lockdown for the safety purpose but after declaration lockdown the cases of domestic violence rise day by day. All of us know that in this situation lakhs of people are stuck at home feeling dishearten and frustrated but domestic violence isn’t the solution but it’s a crime.

According to research conducted by the UN population fund, at least 15M cases of domestic violence are seen all around the world in this year during this pandemic of coronavirus.

People who are subjected to domestic violence suffered a lot of illnesses like depression, difficulty in sleeping, hopelessness, and helplessness. They believe that they are responsible for this and they deserve this, and they had flashbacks of this.

People should support their family apart from doing domestic violence and if you see domestic violence anywhere or around your neighbor call police directly without thinking so that police can help those who are innocent.

Before lockdown many women hesitated to file against their husbands are coming in this way and filing the complaint against their husbands. It is good news that women are opening their eyes and standing against domestic violence.
