BEDTIME ROUTINE.



Ever wonder why some people wake up fresh and active in the morning while some feel horribly lazy? That's because of the bedtime routine that they haven't been able to adopt. It is extremely important for all of us to acknowledge and develop a habit of having a bedtime routine so as to bring about little changes in the way we live our lives. A study conducted by concludes that having a bedtime routine is much more important than having a morning routine. 


So let's discuss several advantages and hacks to develop a habit of having a bedtime routine.


ADVANTAGES OF FOLLOWING A ROUTINE BEFORE BED. 


1. Reduces Stress


2. Keeps you active all day.


3. Stimulates high-quality sleep.


4. Helps to fight Insomnia.


5.  Keeps your skin healthy and glowing. 


Well, after referring to such heavy merits of having a bedtime routine, let's consider of having on for ourselves. So I came up with plenty of hacks to follow right before going to bed.



  • A SHOWER BEFORE BED.


Taking a mild shower right before bedtime isn't as bad as the majority of y'all consider it to be. Under my personal observation, I noticed that taking a shower at night promotes sound sleep. It's been a while and I have been doing this as a ritual and things couldn't have been better for me. Then let's give this a shot.



  • SAY NO TO GADGETS BEFORE BED. 


Yes, most importantly develop a ritual of spending time with humans instead of gadgets before bed. Playing with kids or family members will anyway make you tired enough to sleep right after the playtime is over. Looking to the screen at night makes you wanna binge into it more. So just keep your tech-savvy mode aside at night and concentrate on having a quality sleep.



  • EAT LIGHT. 


Having this as a habit will provide you benefits for a lifetime. Eating light pre-snack before bed is also a good habit. Consider having green-tea before bed to soothe your body, and if you love having a heavy meal at night then do make sure the time difference between the meal and the sleep should be at least 2-3 hours.  


 These three major hacks that I have been following since a long time now helped me to fight stress, insomnia, and the sluggishness. Do not think too much. Make sure to forget about any sort of stress from work. 


AND TAKE A CHILL-PILL. :)
