Suddenly the adrenaline rush got me to the mike and with a very bright smile, I started talking about myself.
It goes like-' Good morning everyone. How are you all doing? I'm Stacy, It's always darn hard to explain yourself in just a few words, we all are open books and the role we play in another person's life creates a different version of what we are. I might be nice to one person but not really good to the other one.
Our roles change as we evolve and change levels in our lives. But here I am standing trying to narrate my story in short words. So, I consider myself a happy person, who loves life and laughter. And not being philosophical at all but I am more into conscience than clubbing. I thoroughly enjoy intellectual talks and encourage sensitivity.
What I happen to repel are hatred and revenge and generally, try to stay away from bullies. I strongly believe in asking people- 'are you happy today?' than to ask about their profession and that's what my friend is called belongingness.'
I saw the entire audience standing, hooting, and applauding. Was that for me? I was amazed by the cheer and the whistles, this was for the first time ever that I experienced something like this.
I felt like my opinion mattered to someone. I had tears in my eyes. That day I narrated the incident to my family proudly.
