'96 is A Beautiful Feeling

Everything in life is perceived by people from their own perceptions.

'96 is a very beautiful movie which i would recommend to everyone out there because it has many things which we can actually say probably happens or has happened in our lives.  

Sometimes we don't seem to realize that all we have is THIS VERY MOMENT and nothing else to own. We do not even know about the next minute or even the next second. So, if you have something to do or something you really wanna tell someone, do it now. Telling someone you love them or care about them, will probably cost you your ego and nothing else. Most of us find it hard to tell it to our family because you've probably never felt the need to do so. But then again, you will never know which will be your last conversation with who and when. So there's no use of crying over spilled milk. And also, just because you failed the first time or you thought you failed, doesn't mean it's the end. Life does not offer you second chances to everybody, but when you do get it, seize it.

Both Ram and Jaanu never stopped loving each other, but ultimately it's true that happy endings are stories that aren't finished yet. They desperately want to go back in time and it's most clearly understood in the scene where Jaanu describes to one of Ram's students about how they met and fell in love, when she(the student) mistakes Jaanu as Ram's wife.

The characters and the music is so mesmerizing that it stays with you long after you've left the talkies.
