2. Designers

The image of an organization is largely decided through its communication material and a good designer would make an invaluable contribution to the organisation.

PCDS is working with clinte and requires all its communications to symbolize its values - expertise and innovation. The role of the designer is critical because he/she must have the ability to create world-class designs and layouts and also be able to deliver under tight deadlines.

Job Description:

  1. Being responsible for conceptualization, designing, layouting, formatting and print supervision of all material to be printed.
  2. Continuously improving the image of the organization visible through its communication material and working on options that will create a strong brand identity of the organization i.
  3. Developing displays and exhibition panels that will be used in exhibitions, seminars, Parent-Teacher meets to explain the concepts, services and offerings of PCDS to the school and parent community.
  4. Designing and layouting advertisements to be inserted in newspapers, magazines.
  5. Developing templates for other material such as certificates, marksheets, analysis forms to improve readability and communicate the message intended for the students and parents.

Desired Profile:

  1. Bachelor of Fine Arts / Post Graduate Diploma in Graphic Design
  2. Sound knowledge of Digital Graphic Software specifically Corel Draw and Adobe Acrobat to execute requirements for print media.
  3. Illustration skills would be an added advantage.
  4. A natural aptitude for color, balance, symmetry combined with strong foundation in design.
  5. Able to deliver "under pressure".

The current product portfolio of PCDS - E_product, hardware & networking ,WebSite product, PCDS training - a kit for reinforcing skills and Curriculum Services.

Job Description

  1. Interacting and building relationships with market, Management and Teachers to create and service the demand for PCDS offerings.
  2. Building a team of Trainig Advisors who will be the front line of the sales effort.
  3. Inspiring, leading and coordinating the team to evolve into partners working towards a common goal of school improvement with the school management.
  4. Take PCDS into the next stage of product growth through penetration in small cities and towns.
  5. Coordinate with SBU Heads of different products and services to ensure Maximum geographical reach and coverage.

Desired Profile:

  1. Field level sales experience of atleast 5 years with proven record.
  2. Strong target orientation with a history of overachievement of targets.
  3. A quick learner with a deep personal motivation towards self-improvement.

4. Product trainig Advisor(Commission-based Sales Executives)- Freelance basis in any town in India

If you have the desire to contribute to the field of education, PCDS offers you an opportunity to interact with schools and partner with them in the process of school improvement. PCDS works with schools in the areas of Diagnostic Assessment, Teacher Training, Curriculum Services and Skill improvement for students.

PCDS's main initiative is PCDS- a diagnostic skill-based test that measures "understanding" and provides detailed feedback to children from class 4-9 about what their academic strengths and weaknesses are. More than 80,000 tests have been administered to students in over 400 schools in the past 2 years in India, Nepal, Middle East and Singapore. PCDS offers schools the ability to benchmark themselves vis-ŕ-vis the schools in the country and helps them pin-point areas of strength and weakness for students with respect to the curriculum.

In terms of teacher training, PCDSplus and Curriculum Services there is a tremendous scope for growth which needs to be tapped.

Job Description

  1. Building a list of schools in your town/ city, periodically visiting them and making presentations regarding PCDS and Teacher Training Programs offered by PCDS to schools.
  2. Coordinating between the Schools that sign up and PCDS to ensure smooth progress of the assessment test, teacher training programs, competitions and other activities. This would involve as an example - collection of lists of participating students, ensuring question papers reach schools, collection of answer sheets and distributing analysis to the schools.
  3. Following-up on activities conducted in schools and get feedback from students and teachers. This would help PCDS identify new opportunities that PCDS can service in the schools.
  4. Reporting on a regular basis to the Relationship Manager of your region.
  5. The Relationship Manager will assist you and will be available for any training, guidance and support you might need to perform your role effectively.

Desired Profiles

  1. Good communication skills and an attitude of accepting challenges.
  2. University Professors with an orientation towards School Education preferred.
  3. Homemakers who have worked previously and who can devote upto 4 hours a day have been very successful as Advisors.
  4. Ready to work on a freelance basis. Most of the remuneration is paid in the form of commissions so the potential to earn is unlimited.
  5. A quick learner with a deep personal motivation towards self-improvement.
  6. "Willing to work the field" and travel within the city/ town. Having a vehicle would help.
  7. Entrepreneurial streak, with a strong desire to do something "different", and a liking for education. Prior experience in interacting with schools will definitely help.

Remuneration: A fixed amount per school visited and attractive commissions based on Sales. Approx Rs 4,000 - Rs 12,000 per month can be expected.

10. Product Manager

The Product Manager will take complete responsibility for existing PCDS products and those that will be developed subsequently. Currently, PCDS product protfolio consists of PCDS, PCDSplus (a subscription based self learning kit for students) and PCDS Pentathlon. The position entails significant responsibility and therefore requires high target orientation and coordination.

Job Description
:

Take complete responsibility for a specific product or service developed by PCDS. For this purpose, coordinate with the development team and the sales team; review customer feedback and communicate it to the respective teams for further action; understand students / parents / schools needs through interactions in various fora; identify new product concepts keeping in mind the research areas of PCDS; work closely with the development team to understand the products and services developed; provide information and training to the sales team on each new product / service.

Candidate Profile:

  1. MBA / Post graduate in any discipline with 3 years experience in handling product development / marketing independently
  2. Good communication skills
  3. Ability to work with multiple teams
  4. Understand feedback and use it for product improvement
  5. Ability to identify new areas for products and services

Job Description:
