jyotsna radhakrishnan is a young indian vocalist who sings in tamil, telugu and malayalam. born in kuwait, she started learning music quickly after coming to kerala. she received training in carnatic vocals from mangad natesan (from all india radio) and learned hindustani classical vocals from guru dinesh devdas. she made her singing debut with the malayalam song vallakilukkam kettedee from the film pranayamani thooval (2002). soon after she shot to fame with the song sughamanee nilavu from the film nammal. since then she has sung for more than 130 films in 3 different languages. she has also given vocals for several albums.
some of her latest films include classmates, pothen vava, don and notebook. she has performed in music shows in uk, usa and singapore. at the age of 20 she has already won many awards, some of which are yuva pratibha, outstanding young person award, film audience award, all kerala youth campus critics award amongst several others.
