Jehanzeb Aziz was born in 1965. He is a recognized Pakistani humorist and short-story writer of the Urdu and Punjabi languages. Aziz was the disciple of some of the most illustrious writers from South Asia, Muhammad Khalid Akhter and Syed Zamir Jafery. Before pursuing his literary career, Jehanzeb Aziz was a pilot in the Pakistan Air Force. His first book Aik Dafa Ka Zikr Hae was a compilation of short stories and articles published in 1993. Aziz has written a large number of news reports relating to defense matters, governance and development issues, business and commerce, as well as television commercials and documentaries. Some of his books, stories, plays include Pech-o-khum, Pahar Mundr aur woh, Sajri seware-Punjabi, Six episode drama serial SHAHPAR, Ten episode drama serial SAJRI SEWARE, Inn Fizaoon sa aagay; Hawa ka Sipayee; National Defense College (Documentary); To Sir with Love : A Tribute to Hugh Catchpole; Red Arrows in Pakistan (Documentary) and PAK-Turkey Dosti Zindabad (Documentary).
