Arya Acharya is a Music Composer, Producer, Singer and Rapper from Mumbai, He started his musical career composing and writing songs at the age of 15 in his high school days, he has also worked as a hip-hop dance choreographer in his early years as a budding musician.
Arya made his professional debut as a Music Producer, Lyricist and Rapper with BABA SEHGAL on the album PUMP UP YO STYLE in 2001, followed this with his first Hindi film playback song as a Singer/Rapper a duet with USHA UTHUP for the film FUNTOOSH, Music Directed by PRITAM, in the coming years, he lent his vocals for more than 75 bollywood films, namely Blockbusters like Phir hera pheri, Namaste london, Tom Dick & Harry, Fool & final and many more with composer HIMESH RESHAMMIYA, Maan gaye muglay azam, Don Muthuswami & Mission Istanbul with composer ANU MALIK, Laga chunri mein daag & many ad jingles with composer SHANTANU MOITRA of (3 IDIOTS fame), and around 170 Remix & Private music albums like Aap ka suroor with HIMESH RESHAMMIYA, Bhor with BANDISH PROJEKT, Return of the kanta laga remix wth SANOBER KABIR including more than 85 Various remix albums as a Vocalist exclusively with Giant music label T-SERIES to name a few.
Arya’s latest feet includes his appreciation as a Singer, Composer & Rapper by none other than the International R & B Megastar AKON, who’s company Hitlab.com heard his songs online and liked it so much that they contacted and Invited Arya to perform Live & exclusively in “Akon’s India tour” at his Concert in Gurgaon, Delhi. And Arya did make Akon proud by giving a power packed performance at the concert which the Audience swear by.
Arya has been signed up by Himesh Reshammiya’s “H.R Muzik” as a composer, singer and rapper for a 22 song Bollywood deal, he will be featured along with Reshammiya as a collaborative Artist for songs in film and albums.
Arya’s composing and song designing skills has been recently appreciated by Kollywood (Tamil, Telegu. Malayalam film Industry) resulting in him Designing and Programming the song “Dheemi Dheemi” sung by Sunidhi Chauhan for Mega Budget Malayalam film “Kandahar” which featured India’s Megastars’s Mohanlal and Amitabh Bachan together for the first time in Indian Cinema, and the latest news is that he has been roped in by“Sri Ranjith Movies” a popular Film banner from Hyderabad, to compose music for their upcoming Thriller cum Entertainer a trilingual Tamil, Telegu and Malyalam film, It will be produced by Damodar Prasad and will be Directed by Sunil Prasant under the“Sri Ranjth Movies” banner.
