Zephryus, born Bruce Thornton II, found his passion in music at an early age. His love for poetry soon became a love for hip hop; this quickly turned into song writing.
His first mixtape, recorded in 2008 was widely distributed in the Pittsburgh area. His second, and first solo mixtape, was the result of months of hard work and maturation.
Released in 2010, the Flying Trapeze has received tremendous support and has been a stepping stone in Zephryus’ music career. He embraces music as a constant challenge of personal growth and vows to continue down a path towards success.
He is now exclusively signed by Mcube Records and his album "Lighters & Astronauts" has been released under the Mcube Records banner
