'saMcara' in Sanskrit means being together / walking together.
The Trio, Sutirtho, Simon & Dipayan (G.BO) declared that they are ready to hit the road with their originals.
Their journey started early this year (2013) with Sutirtho, who is a student of Hindustani classical vocals, as the lead vocalist and music composer, Simon, who is a student of Nylon String western classical Guitar, as the Guitarist and backing vocalist and Dipayan (G.BO), who is a student of classical Tabla, as a Multi Percussionist and backing vocalist. Thomas Roy joined the Trio as their bassist later this year as a guest performer.
They call themselves a Classic-Folk-Eclectic Band.
And 'BAPU' is their first contribution in the Independent Music Industry.
‘BAPU’ is a satirical song on our consumeristic existence, which talks about Gandhi Ji’s Ideals in theory but does not imply in our practical life.
‘saMcara’ attempts to reconnect with his Ideals.
