Biography of Jerry Amaldev :
Jerry Amaldev is a three-time Kerala State Film Awards winning Indian composer of film scores who has given music to some of the most important motion pictures of Malayalam cinema. He is noted for his lyrical and expressive melodies together with simple but rich tonal compositions of Indian music. Jerry Amaldev was born to a Catholic Christian family as the son of V. C Joseph and Mary Joseph in Cochin, of Kerala state. He has composed around 300 songs in 70 Malayalam films. His songs are all-time chartbusters, and his music is relatively simple and can be absorbed easily by common man. Some of his memorable songs are Deva Dumdubi, Poovataka, Alorungi arongoringi, Maunagale chanchaduvan, Manjanikombil, Mizhiyoram, Aayiram kannumai, Vaachalam en mounam, Kiliye , Pennite chenchudil are his some of his hits.
