Javed Bashir the elder son of Ustad Bashir Ahmed Khan was born in 1973. He started singing at an early age of 12 by performing with his father. Javed Bashir also got training from his uncle, Ustad Mubarik Ali Khan. In 1992, Javed Bashir started his solo performances. His first famous song ("Deewane Nach De") was released with Bally Sagoo (from UK). His second famous song "Nayee Tere Jeya Hor Disda" was released by Rishi Rich.
He released 8 albums of Qawali as well. In 2002, he joined a very famous rock sufi classical band named Mekal Hassan Band as lead singer. Javed Bashir has also toured all over the world. One of his albums was released in Norway with Sundre BretLand with the name "Dialog". The album got "Best Album of the Year Award" and "Voice of the World". He has also worked with the famous A.R Rehma and Pete Locket from UK.
